From my first job working at a skate shop to owning and running grassroots skateboard companies, a publicly traded skateboard company to helping bring skateboarding and skateboarders to the Olympic Games - my journey has been vast and unique.

With over 30 years as an - entrepreneur, artist, curator, designer, recruiter, team-rider, team-manager, shipper, merchandiser, cashier, decorator, retail designer, philanthropist, custodian and more, I’ve gathered abundant experience.

Today, as I enter this next chapter, I ask myself: What’s next? How can I continue to help others and share my insight?

THE ANSWER: Give back to skateboarding culture, my calling and the constant in my life that has given me purpose. I’m excited to share what I’ve learned through this adventure through mentoring and education.

The ‘HeART Class’ is about passing on this knowledge and experience. In this program, we’ll dive into creativity, with purpose, positivity, and spirituality. We will explore entrepreneurship, brand-building, and various creative projects - including logo creation, visual communications, marketing, and design. We also aim to discover the power of journaling, sketching, with effective verbal communication, and visual presentation.

Expect to create your own skateboard and merchandise and engage with world-class experts through guest lectures, hands-on workshops, and field trips to places where creativity and innovation thrive.

From being a successful entrepreneur to being a successful athlete, this class is designed to ignite imagination, ‘Find Your Why’, manifest dreams, and guide its students toward a fulfilling and successful life - personally and professionally. And throughout this journey, we’ll be giving skateboards to kids in need around the world.
